3.5 stars. The quality of the food is top notch. But we got the Steak Omakase and must admit that I don’t think the price is worth it. Just left feeling a little underwhelmed for a bill that was over $500 for 2 people. Again quality of cuts were great just a little small for the price. I’ve been wanting to try COTE for a while and finally made it - though with a 5 PM reservation. The staff was welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout the meal. We had the Butcher’s Feast and the Bulgogi Paella. The BBQ was incredible - so flavorful it didn’t even need the ssamjang sauce. The A5 Wagyu was great, but the galbi was my favorite bite of the evening. All the sides were delicious, especially the scallion salad. Excellent experience with a steak and wine pairing. It’s loud in there so don’t expect an intimate conversation. The food was excellent.
Loved this place. The experience is just as good as the food (table-side grilling is so much fun). A solid place for a great steak and an even better time. Highly recommend the Filet Mignon and the Short Rib.
