Had a great time at Costco in Sunnyvale. Able to do some early Christmas shopping !
Has everything you need. Fast checkers. Poor flow to the store finding things. Lots of people and families with screaming/cryinging small children aimlessly wondering about. Customers randomly stop in aisle ways with people behind them thus causing gridlock. Too many high pressure direct tv contractor sales people. Meat selection is off the charts good as is the produce. Protip: You dont need a Costco membership to buy alcohol there.
The Sunnyvale store is one of the busiest in the SF Bay Area. It's our local store, and while it can get crazy with lots of folks - for the most part, the staff does a good job with checkout, etc. We've purchased eyeglasses, car tires, Kirkland gasoline, rotisserie chickens and the like for many years. Can't say enough good things about Costco.
Costco is a great store for value. Value not cheap items at low prices. The impact of Amazon buying Whole Foods on Costco is totally exaggerated. I have Prime too. You won't catch me going any less to Costco. WSJ reports Walmart is 30% cheaper for food than Whole Foods. All great businesses for different reasons. Costco bathrooms are a disaster though. One step above a gas station.
The store wasnt bad, i liked seeeing items we dont have here locally and it was clean and an interesting store. However i have never seen so many rude people in one building. Customers and employees were all rude. I wont ever go here again. People push and dont say excuse me, employees were less than thrilled to be there.
I go to Costco to shop, not sample. I can get in and out quickly. Love the wine selection. They have the best rotisserie chicken on the planet!

I shop at this Costco monthly. My DEBIT card didn't work, they said it was due to the MasterCard logo. I use the same card EVERY month buying the same 10+cases of water. I just don't understand the change. I had to suspend the order to go get cash or check to pay. Not a fun adventure with a two year old and ended in traffic hour commute home.
