The manager of the optical department, "Mike", was determined to be UNhelpful when I presented a prescription from a New York physician. He maintained he would lose his job if the prescription didn't have the doctor's license number which apparently New Jersey requires. But it turns out all New York doctors' licenses are listed on the internet. I ended up taking my prescription to a different optician in Red Bank who had no problem with the lack of license number. He said "Oh, we just look it up." HE was helpful.
