I have insurance but wasn't sure what I got coverage for, went to the desk and the guy there was extremely condescending. I'm 19, I don't know EXACTLY what to ask, I only had my insurance info and a couple questions. Bald beardy hipster with thick glasses, very rude and answered questions like I was a baby. No thanks, dude.
Made an afternoon appointment which was verified. I show up on time and was the only customer. They said I was next. The doctor never showed. I had to leave after waiting for 1/2 hour. That's pretty much ignored and disrespected.
I went in to schedule an appointment and they surprisingly had an opening at that moment. Mind you…. I honestly walked in with a not so great attitude because I had to pay for an exam due to the lack of available offices that take my insurance. I had my two babies with me so it was challenging and definitely not ideal but both the woman in the front office (I wish I knew her name) and the Optometrist were so patient, understanding, showed me a lot of grace, and were very kind to my baby’s. I like the optometrist. But the chicks in the glasses place are dismissive and make you feel stupid. They laughed as I walked away. I left feeling overwhelming anxiety.
