I went in to schedule an appointment and they surprisingly had an opening at that moment. Mind you…. I honestly walked in with a not so great attitude because I had to pay for an exam due to the lack of available offices that take my insurance. I had my two babies with me so it was challenging and definitely not ideal but both the woman in the front office (I wish I knew her name) and the Optometrist were so patient, understanding, showed me a lot of grace, and were very kind to my baby’s. I like the optometrist. But the chicks in the glasses place are dismissive and make you feel stupid. They laughed as I walked away. I left feeling overwhelming anxiety.
Charge $130 more for contact lens prescriptions than their competition. Scam much?
Have always liked this Costco but had a terrible experience at the vision center. Extremely rushed exam which led to an incorrect prescription. Extremely rushed buying experience with no help, no questions asked or answered, and no interest in helping me find the right fit or glasses like in other places. And finally, extremely poor (almost rude) customer service when trying to deal with these problems, mainly from the manager of the vision center. This vision center gives this Costco a bad name.
My prescription was wrong the 1st time I got my glasses. I went back a second time, had them redone and they are still wrong; my left lens is all fuzzy. I called to make another appointment and the girl said they could not be adjusted again. I recommend that you don't go to the eye doctor in Costco in Eureka.
