Niklas at Duluth costco tire was so nice & helpful! We were about to leave town to head back to Twin cities and our tire pressure light came on. Just before close on a Saturday night and Niklas checked our tire for a leak, lucky no visible leak. He did some quick research to figure out an issue with our sensor & old tires. He filled up our tire, reset the sensor and got us on our way quickly with no charge. Niklas & Costco tire center saved us a stressful drive home. We will be buying new tires from Costco ASAP!
If you care about your time or money you will take your vehicle elsewhere. My wife and I have brought our vehicles in 6+ times over the course of several years. I think 2 of these went fine. The worst one had me stuck there for 3+ hours until the store closed and they finally told me they weren't going to be able to get it done that night. Last fall they told me they can't do my wife's car anymore because they don't have the right lifts for it. My experience with the Costco tire center has always been positive. Cheaper than alternatives, but a bit slower. I recommend taking something to work on while you eat in the food court.
This place is terrible! Shockingly bad! They said they would put the spare back where it belongs and they didn’t. They said they would email when tires I ordered came in and they didn’t. Then when they put the new ones on that I paid a premium for they didn’t balance them so have a violent shaking when I drive down the road. It’s almost laughable except now I have to go pay another tire shop to do what I paid them for!
