I’ve been buying from Costco for YEARS and would have given 5 stars a couple years ago. But things have for sure changed. I made an appointment for a tire rotation at 6:15. It’s currently 8:35pm and they are not finished. There are other people here who have been waiting even longer. I’m sorry but it shouldn’t take that long for a basic rotation. I will start buying my tires elsewhere.
Ordered tires online and had an appt to get them installed. Was told it would take about an hour, it took 2 hrs. Then I go to leave, and my tire sensors are not working. The tech told me that one went out and needed to be replaced. HUH? They were working fine 2 hrs ago. And why did they not let me know so it could be fixed while there? I purchased new tires less than 1 year ago and recently got a flat. I called Costco to make an appointment and they let me know they would repair the tire for free until it was bald! At my appointment they let me know the tire was unrepairable and quoted me nearly $300 for the same tire i paid for $170 for last summer. I took my car to a chain auto store as I had a pre-existing appointment for AC repair. I let them know I had an unrepairable tire and requested to purchase a new tire. Bought tires there two years ago. Went in for a free rotation but had a different tire because of a slash and they said they can't touch my car because one of the tires wasn't bought there. Oh but golly gee he offered to sell me one just so I can get the free rotation, seriously! Guy was kind of a jerk.
