Update on November 2024: Once again, I'm facing a serious timing issue. This time, I was only informed about a 2+ hour delay after I had already arrived here and left work. You are truly the worst! Why wasn’t I notified before I left work? Now what? Do I need to reschedule? What guarantee do I have that the next appointment won't be a problem? Our Costco tires are supposedly covered under warranty and should be replaced free of charge when damaged, one of the tires was punctured after less than 6 months and they didn't replace it for free like the warranty states. Costco charged for the tire replacement and lied, indicating they would replace the 2nd front tire as well but didn't. Costco indicated they would call when they're ready to install the 2nd tire but never did. Also, when I arrived for my appointment they had no record it had ever been booked.
They stripped one of the lug bolts putting the tire on. When I tried to retorque, it was just loose, so I'm lucky the lug nut didn't fall off. Never hand them the keys. Just take your tires off and bring them in to balance or install them and then put them back on yourself. If you can't change your own tires or your tires aren't on rims, go somewhere else. I've changed my tires for the last 6 years without issue. All you have to do is start the bolt by hand before you get the impact out. This was so careless. Tried to save m... read more
