When we got our tires on on the first place, they said that it would take about a hour, it was 11am. No problem, we can spend a hour in Costco. 12 came, no call. 1pm, we have been sitting on the hard benches for over an hour. At 1:30 pm I finally asked where our car was? They said, well it was done at 11:45 am! He said that we called you and left a message. I handed him my phone to show him that KNOWBODY had called or left a text message. Bought a set of truck tires and asked them to troubleshoot a TPMS sensor. Scheduling was straightforward and easy. I have custom wheels that Firestone wouldn’t touch for fear of damaging, Costco techs had no issue with them. Took about 1.5 hours to finish the job, likely because the tech was being meticulous and careful when I stopped to observe them. They were also honest that my tire pressure light wasn’t because of a sensor. I will use them again.
Costco as a whole is awesome but highly recommend to not do service with the tire department. The guy at the front was nice and professional but then the manager on duty that came from the back came out with an attitude. We had our vehicle in to get our tire patched and they ended up telling us they couldn't repair it and said they recommend getting all brand new tires. I took in our Jeep Renegade to get new tires. We had been trying to sell this extra vehicle that had been sitting in our garage, but no one was buying with worn tires. We decided that maybe we dump some money and hang onto it for when our 14 year is ready to drive. I ordered Firehawk tires online. They ship quickly and I schedule an appointment online about a week out. I get a text saying they can likely get me in earlier and to call the store. They get me in 3:15 that day. The website for rotation, etc is ridiculously hard to navigate. They need to fix this.
