I always rated Costco at least a 4-star store, but made my last purchase there today as they will no longer be accepting American Express. Guess they don't need my couple grand per year.
We joined Costco cause of the pharmacy prices being of Great value but when you changed the policy to only pharmacy items be bought at that register you made me and I know others quite upset. I came up to the register with only one other item I needed, parmesan cheese, and was told to go to the main check out. You are loosing a lot of money by this policy and it needs to be changed. You are not the only big warehouse store in the area like BJ's and Sam's Club is only 25 miles away. Walmart is also only 2 exits away as well. ... read more

If you enjoy shopping in a place crowded with rude people then you'll be in the hot spot of Lancaster county. A true zoo of a mega store. Their products are no too bad, good bakery and meat departments. Otherwise the employees are nasty and careless with items. I once had a guy toss a case of blueberry muffins in my cart upside down at check out and couldn't understand why I was annoyed. They sold my wife and I a cardboard cut out of an iPad they didn't have, then took over an hour to figure out it wasn't in the high securit... read more
I'm a native Indian and while shopping with my 7yrs daughter, she found SmartGlode Infinity by Oregon Xplore and she found India on it. She surprised and asked me Why This glode has different map of India they we have it at home. Basic shape of India is like standing Human with spread hand, so northern state of India is Head of the Country. There is no Northern State in same color of the country. I guess no one in Costco Associate have knowledge of Political map of the World and they just approved the product to make money. ... read more
Saw a video that showed how Costco allows their egg farmers to cram chickens into tiny cages to maximize profits. No air, sunlight, walking on wire floors, getting caught under the egg hatch. Disgusting. We were about to join to save on organic groceries - if this is truly what goes on behind closed doors, no thanks, Costco!
