rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. My physician sent my prescription to this pharmacy on Thursday. When I called Friday to check on it, I was told I needed to come in and present government-issued ID before it could be filled. This location is 45 minutes from my home, but I made the drive on Sunday to provide the required identification. Costco Pharmacy really needs to improve its customer service. The staff sound disengaged and uninterested, with very little energy or enthusiasm when answering calls. It often feels like no one wants to pick up the phone or help. A more positive and energetic approach would make a big difference.
Costco Pharmacy is always busy and usually you have to wait. However, all staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. When I had to have a prescription filled quickly because I had overlooked how close I was to running out, everyone did their best to help. I am grateful that they gave people who know what they are doing and do their best to solve your problems. Thank-you!!!
I had a very frustrating experience here. Yesterday I went to get eye drops for my child. The front desk staff told me it would take 4 hours and asked me to come back the next morning. When I returned the next morning as instructed, they could not find my prescription. After wasting a lot of time, they finally said they found it — but the medication had not even been prepared yet, and then asked me to wait another 30 minutes.
