It's less expensive than going to a traditional audiologist, but their service leaves something to be desired. Hearing aids have wax guards that need to be regularly replaced, but they don't tell you how to get the replacements - they just say to come in, they'll give you more for free. Not an ideal solution, but when I have gone in, they act like I'm interrupting. The last time the guy told me to come back tomorrow. He couldn't stop to just grab a handful?

I had a bad customer service experience from Lori Barnes (audiologist) last week at the Costco Hearing Center in Bloomingdale, IL. Due to lack of staffing and scheduling that day Lori couldn't handle my appointment smoothly instead she was upset and stressed out the entire time even with customers waiting outside. she was verbally rude and didn't even listen to my concerns on the ordered earmold until I had to raise my voice to make her quite. I cannot recommend the Costco Hearing Aid center in Bloomingdale enough. I have been there for three hearing tests over the last few years. Brittany Kotapka is the person that has administered the testing every time and she is wonderful. After a very intensive and lengthy testing, better than some I have had with an Audiologist office, Brittany explains the test results in details, showing the sounds you can hear both high and low.
