I just got gas and COSTCO put a $100 hold on my card...ok that's fine if they don't try to lie about it after you go tp customer service and ask them about it. I was talking to a very pleasant employee who was telling me the truth and then a manager (I didn't get his name) came up and told me it was my banks problem and to contact them. That was the lie...it is in fact COSTCO that puts the hold on the card. I had asked why I didn't see a sign warning customers about this hold, she said there should be one.
