I am very happy with this service. I have personally used Costar for 3 years now, and have had a wonderful experience. They are always helpful to research with me, and keep contacts updated. I have a personal agent Beth, who has been absolutely amazing in helping me get my new company hooked in and onboarded. It has been smooth and very easy. My experience with CoStar felt extremely deceptive. The "Account Executive" that baited me into a $6,200+ annual subscription described a treasure trove of lease comp market data which turned out to be virtually non-existent for my submarket. They also promised cross-platform access to LoopNet's listing service, which turned into their (ultra-tacky) opportunity to upsell me on a four-figure annual Loopnet subscription. The functionality and platform of the service is great, offering the ability to dive into data and analytics to help serve our clients. Unfortunately, the billing department and service department has been absolutely terrible. We have spent nearly 60 hours in the past year simply trying to reconcile their accounting and billing errors, along with the agents within our office being charged for accounts that aren’t theirs.
