A discovery made in 1952 by two college lads, has turned into Rapids City's popular attraction, Cosmos Mystery Area. As the signboard at the entrance aptly reads 'laws of nature seem to have gone completely berserk', nothing in this attraction can be perceived as normal. Visited the Cosmos Mystery Area this past weekend with the fam. Our tour guide, Shila, was very informative and made the tour such a fun experience!

Taylor was our guide and we couldn’t ask for anyone better. She was fun, energetic, great with our tweens and let us sneak in some photo ops. Highly recommend this place...it had come highly recommended to us and did not disappoint.
I’m from this area, I’ve been here a few times.... it never gets old. I love it.
It was a great way to wrap up our stay in South Dakota. I don't recall the guides name but it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely want to do it again so my 2 yeast old would be able to remember it.

Jennifer was an amazing tour guide. One of my kiddos felt left out after she selected big sister to help out. She went above and beyond to include the 2nd sister. Tour was fantastic and I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. A unique place that should be on everyone's bucket list! :) dont forget to tip your guide!!
