I had a very large job to completely renovate a highly distressed house that had been flooded. Stephen Cosgrove designed and completely rebuilt the main level and the basement. The kitchen was very cleverly designed to open up the sapce and create a breakfast nook. He designed the basement to include a family room with a walk out french doors to a patio, a study, laudnry room , new bathroom and bedroom. They did a great job with a complicated project. there were a number of room remodeled, repairs done, and a new bathroom done. their design work was very helpful. the quality is first class. I got my monies worth.

Very competent. Polite workers. Clean. Some errors that needed to be corrected, but prompt responses. Some delays in setting up needed actions. Overall, great result.
I had a complete bathroom added to my basement. The owner and workers were knowledgeable about the requirements, and were nice to work with. There was a minor communication issue with some extra work that had to be performed, but we were able to work it out. They did a great job on the bathroom, and I have not had any problems with it.
Our renovations weren't just for the basement. Besides the basement remodel, we also remodeled one bedroom to add a bathroom extending over the basement area. Other miscellaneous jobs included resurfacing the deck, adding a walkway from the side of the driveway to the back of the house, and many others.
Had a horrible experience with this contractor: he had to redo almost everything when I complained about poor work quality. Did not finish the job and left. I have leaks in the basement he built and plan to meet him in court. The contractor is good in making promises and collecting the checks. Do not hire Cosgrove & Sons!

they did a good job, on time, at promised price. straightforward and punctual. I am considering them for 2 next projects due to their values.
I love the paint work completed by Cosgrove. It is a total upgrade of my family room, kitchen and hall way. All the rooms have vaulted ceilings so it was a work intensive and complicated job. The painters were very friendly, neat and completed the job on time. Philip Cosgrove helped me with the perfect choice of color and the various colors are merging beautifully in this open design house. I would definitely hire them again for any new paint job. Hanne
