This has been by far the WORST experience in apartment living I have ever had. They are so inconsiderate. They couldn’t care less about your peace. I work nights and they are remodeling all around and don’t care to warn you if it’s going to be above or next to you after I’ve asked them to multiple times. I could make other arrangements but they don’t care. Not to mention, they allow neighbors to smoke inside of a non smoking apartment which has been making my bedroom smell and it’s disgusting. DO NOT LIVE HERE! I'm updating my review which was already negative to begin with but since posting that review things have only gotten worse. I've worked in the industry for over ten years and will NEVER refer anyone to cortland belmar. I've had issues since the first day I moved in. My heat and AC has gone out multiple times, I had to purchase my own shower curtain rods for all my bathrooms, I rented a "renovated" apartment. The apartment was filthy when I moved in. Fire alarm will not stop ringing in the middle of the night
There were a few frustrating delays with repairs and maintenance when I first moved in, mainly due to the property being short-staffed. But things turned around when Billy came on as the new Service Manager. He personally introduced himself and even delivered a bottle of wine to apologize for the earlier mishaps. It showed a genuine effort to make things right, and get things done. Since then, communication and follow through have been noticeably better. Billy’s presence and passion has made a huge difference.
Extremely disappointed with Cortland. Office is horrible and I honestly don't think the maintenance team exists. Zero stars.
