Their billing practices are unethical. They encourage you to schedule your welcome visit to review your estimate sheet. I knew this seemed phishy, so I requested the estimate sheet prior to scheduling to ensure our insurance would cover the visit. Our estimate sheet said their clinic is in-network and did not require a referral for visits after checking my medical insurance. My copay was $40. So far...and we are early in the process...but having a child in ABA for 10 years this is the 1st organization where all the stakeholders are mental health professionals and NOT bankers trying to make money off of disabled children!
