UPDATE: 8/21/25 5:32pm Cortica stands behind their policy to deny my kids their second dose of medication at school. They said their policy on forms is a week. It is inexcusable that a doctor would prescribe medication for behaviors issues but it is not a priority for the practice that the medication is taken as prescribed. I am sorry to be a Karen but I am so upset and had to get on here to warn ya'll about Cortica in The Woodlands. I have had an appt set with them for several months. Our appt was for an Autism Evaluation at 8:30 am .....we got there at 8:41 and they would not see us. We drove 1.5 hours to get there and were 11 min late. They said they have a 10 min late policy and they wont see you. There was literally no one else in the waiting room. I pleaded with them and they wouldnt budge. OT and speech is great. But I wouldn’t recommend. The billing department and front desk don’t have in sync communication. I get charged 3-5 months later. I spend hundreds out of pocket money, and it never gets resolved. They say that they sent several messages but they send only one saying they sent several messages about unpaid balance and they will take service off. I wouldn’t recommend at all. They cancel your appointments out of no where without communicating over phone just over email. If you have a busy life, go somewh... read more
