I chose Dr. Hisel because she is a D.O. I liked that she would have a more holistic approach with the human body. Dr. Hisel is smart, compassionate and knowledgeable. I trust her completely. I find her easy to talk to and a good listener. She allows me to be part of the decision-making process which is critical for me. I feel like I can be me with her. I was disappointed Dr. Hisel rehired a nurse that moved and returned. I felt this nurse belonged in a different medical setting.
Dr Hisel is extremely negligent. My first visit with her she prescribed me 7 different medications that I no longer take. She prescribed medications that caused even more issues for me in the end. She never followed up and if I contacted her expressing concern my symptoms they would just send out a different prescription. I feel like this is terrible medical help. She doesn't genuinely care about her patients.
She was my foster daughters Dr. and now she is my own daughters Dr. since she was a newborn. She'll be five this summer. I have never had any concerns and have always been treated well by her and all the staff. They are personable yet very professional.
Dr. Hisel completely ignored my health concerns and told me I was fine. Six months after my appointment with her, my health tanked drastically due to the concern I had expressed to her. A year later, I am still reeling from the damage done to my body by her ignoring my concerns a year ago.

I would not recommend this provider to anyone. She did not listen to my health concern. Her bed side manner was not for patient care.
I have used her and her associates for years and all of a sudden she had a PA names James Balch, PA that decided he didn't want to see me. I then needed a refill on the only prescription I take and found out they no longer want me as a client. ?? Why? I am not a high maintenance client and only need the "Yearly" checkup. But it seemed like everytime I turned around they required me to go in for another checkup. Ask me a few questions and charge me $100+. I have only RLS and take a med for it.
This last visit was disturbing as the doctor thought I was taking a medication I was not, like she was looking at someone else's chart and this after she showed up almost 1 1/2 hour late to my appt. she said due to patients asking questions and I had a 9:15 in the MORNING appt.?? Don't they allow time for patients to ask questions? We understand emergencies come up and we also know some doctors can become arrogant and selfish and think little about their patients time in comparison to theirs.
