My family members have worked in Americorps. It really prepares youth for work in the private sector.
I was an AmeriCorps VISTA before I went to law school. Now I'm an AmeriCorps Program Director of a partnership that helps veterans and people experiencing homelessness. I'm so glad to have this opportunity to expand outreach and support in this area. I'm also so proud of the AmeriCorps members serving here in Santa Barbara County!
