Read the other reviews. Mountainside is a complete ripoff. I signed up for a 1 month trial membership in April of 25 while in Scottsdale for the birth of our son, who had to be in Scottsdale due to high risk pregnancy. 1 month trial!! I went into location after sons birth and CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP. I have been billed every month since. I originally lived in Flagstaff, 2 hours away and have now moved to Santa fe as of Jan 26. I was moving out state, cancelled in the club. I kept getting bills and people calling me saying I was past due on the membership. I replied (maybe 7-10 times) that I moved out of and cancelled. No one would ever respond, I would just get the same reach out week after week. Finally, Sean Parks the "GM" responded that he has been getting my messages and that "if i cancelled" then I would have an email saying I cancelled, but since i don't they are keeping my membership active and if I don't pay they will send me to collection... read more

I was skeptical about signing up because franchise gyms are known for adding unexpected fees. When I joined the Ahwatukee location, I was offered a military member promotion: first month free and the annual fee waived. Why would you be closed early on black Friday. And most of your equipment is falling apart and dangerous. Nothing is bolted down. Wild. Great place if you want to watch teenagers play videos games on there phones, while the sit on the equipment. Not inspiring. Usually, I leave this gym irritated and in disbelief.
