This heritage structure, established in 1927, is a much-sought after venue for music. The ornate concert hall designed with an abundance of red, has an old world charm about it. Moreover, it is equipped with the latest amenities and sound system. Various touring troupes, broadways shows and orchestras have halted at this theater to perform. Past performers include the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, the Marx Brothers, Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan. Private parties and banquets can also be held here.

The staff was so kind and the place is out of this world. Absolutely gorgeous. It was my first time there and At times i found myself staring at the ceiling and looking for decir details and not actually looking at the band playing. Amazing
Great venue in a beautifully renovated building.Easy in, easy out. Great, helpful, friendly staff. I look forward to going back.
This theater is absolutely stunning. So much gorgeous architecture and detail to look at. I've been in a lot of older, historic venues and theaters and this one is definitely one of the best I've ever seen. And the ceiling is just AMAZING! We had a blast seeing Wilco there last night and would love to see more music that we like there in the future. Hopefully this will happen!
Thank you Coronado Performing Arts Center for bringing Wilco to Rockford... and holding a first-class event. The pre-show party outside was well done and the theater experience was amazing.
Had a great time at the Wilco show. Great idea for the cookout, too. Please bring more bands like them. Great sound, too!!
My husband and I have seen many great shows here. My first (LONG before I met my husband) was Herman's Hermits and the 1910 Fruitgum Co. back in 1968!
Went to see Dwight Yoakom. Never been there before. I thought this theater was the most beautiful theater I had ever seen before. I have been in most or all the theaters in Chicago being a theater major at Columbia College, and the Coronado was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed the concert very much. Always a pleasure to see an artist in a smaller venue. I do agree that the sound for both bands could have been better, but we enjoyed our evening none the less.
A gorgeous venue, but the seating way too close together (side-to-side AND front-to-back). Probably won't go there again.
