Shelley is absolutely amazing! She is so thorough and helpful in finding the right frames/lenses at the right price and talking through the details of things like insurance and rebates. Always appreciate her help guidance.
They upsold me on fancy glasses + frames. The things broke within the first few months I got them and now they're saying nothing can possibly be done to repair them. So essentially, this place swindled me out of hundreds of dollars. Do not go here, they're essentially thieves. Edit: Now they're saying it's a "false review". Not a single word I said was false. 20/20 experience! Dr. Chen was very friendly and the exam went smoothly and quickly. The tests were explained accurately and I felt like I got the medical care I needed. When purchasing frames and lenses, Shelley Schulman was a delight to work with. She helped me choose the right frames and was very transparent about costs, style, and options. I would absolutely recommend Corona Vision to anyone in need of optometry services or new glasses!
I'm super happy with my experience here! Dr. Shilang Chen was fantastic. My exam took about 15 minutes from start to finish, though I’m sure timing may vary per person. The wait time was very minimal for me as well. Shelley, the optician, was incredibly helpful in guiding me to the perfect frames and gave honest, thoughtful feedback. Both Dr. Chen and Shelley were very kind and professional. The space was kept clean, well-organized, and a great selection of frames. Highly recommend, especially for anyone local to Astoria!
