Wanted to give a huge shoutout to Ilio and Luis with Corona Air Paint. We recently took an airplane to them for some paint touchups that required a re-quote (through no fault of theirs) after dropping the plane off. Upon delivery, Ilio advised us that his re-quote was far below the actual labor required to complete the job but he was going to stick to his quote and eat the difference. Most reliable aircraft painting in socal by far. I have been doing business with this shop for the last 2 years and the owner has treated me with respect and fairness. They have delivered the aircraft on time every single time (they do touch ups here and there for me). I own a Cessna 210 and a Cherokee 140. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime.
Corona Air Paint painted my Vans 12is this summer. The work was completed on budget and ahead of schedule and looks great. The owner Ilio communicated well before and after I delivered the plane. He did custom sharks teeth that look fantastic. The paint has some tiny blemishes but is still very good. The price is significantly better than another shop I contacted in Santa Maria.
Great experience with everyone at the shop. Flexible scheduling, quick work, and amazing pricing. Ilio is an artist and enjoys coming up with unique and imaginative designs. For builders of experimental aircraft painting a bare aluminum plane, the price is even lower, you just have to be willing to disassemble and reassemble it yourself (hangar, tools, and spare hands provided).
Very unprofessional people ! I called them maybe 50 times no one is answer . Last Friday I went to airport directly and it was about 3.45pm store was closed ! I don’t know how to reach out them but definitely I will not work with them
