Tenants beware!! I lived at Augusta Square for 15+ years. When moved in, old carpet and old paint on walls. Leaks in ceiling and torn walls were never completely fixed. Old garbage disposal, fridge and stove. Garbage disposal kept breaking down, fridge never was cool enough - food spoiled after 3 days, only front 2 burners worked on stove. When I moved out I was sent a bill for carpeting and painting the walls which was from previous tenant - over $1000.00. I had to call today and speak to Brian about an issue I have been having with Beaver Ridge Run Apartments. Throughout our entire brief conversation, as he very swiftly tried to get me off the phone, after everything I said he responded with "that's not quite accurate". Brian quite obviously had no interest in the tenant side of this situation. I called to get help from a higher up and got called a liar and was blown off. Cornerstone sold the townhomes I reside in, Walnut Creek, to BRG and the transition was horrible. There was no communication prior to them taking over. We were notified afterward by BRG. The property manager and maintenance staff that was there before were no longer there. That was not communicated. I had a maintenance request put in and the maintenance man from the previous owners said he would be back the next day and never showed up, because the previous staff was eliminated. WATCH OUT!!! I rented an apt that managed by Cornerstone Realty management corp at 8470 beech ave. It is called Kugler mill square apartment. At the end of the lease, we cleaned and vacuumed the apartment and returned key all followed instruction of the property manager. She promised she would keep us posted on the walk through. However, she did not. She sent a bill with 657 dollars to us for cleaning the kitchen, bath room and replaced the carpet. With 300$ security deposit, we still owe them for 357 dollars.
