While I did learn many helpful things throughout this practice, ultimately several negative experiences lead me to leave. For example, it was suggested to me that I make a donation to a far right organized as "punishment" for not reaching goals. As a queer person this felt hugely inappropriate and disrespectful, and made me question why there is a pride flag on the door.
