On the recommendation of one of Cornerstone's surgeons, Dr. Ocel, I consulted Dr. Thomas Eickmann, Orthopedic Surgeon, who specializes in knees and hips. He states on his website that he is the Director of Product Development for Renovis Surgical Technologies. My first knee replacement (Renovis implant A200E) on my left leg was 6/4/2014. I have been dealing with Cornerstone Orthopedics for quite a few years and with three doctors, primarily Dr. Ocel. I have always received prompt attention in the office, wonderful attention in the cast room and attentive and companionate attention from Dr. Ocel and his assistants. I would trust Dr. Ocel's decision as to what needed to be done to my leg/ankle with no question as he always explains things completely. I saw some negatives reviews about this place. People today are just whiners. This office and doctors are truly professional and my injury is healing much faster than expected
My husband and I have both had multiple surgeries here. Great experience, top surgeon!! With that said the billing office needs a new manager. On my third surgery for shoulder reconstruction "the billing was suppose to be "workcomp"... After the surgery was completed and therapy was underway, my work denied the claim leaving my insurance to pay and me with 0ver a grand .... mind you I had not even received a bill from cornerstone yet and the billing manager called me to say, PAY UP NOW!!Literally!!
