I can only say that I am glad my mother died there. All the nurses, doctor and tecnicians treated my mom with love and respect. Rip my beautiful mom.
Before Google, my Mom was at MCHH 9 years ago. I was very impressed then. Yesterday my Dad was transferred there also. I swear, I think he was in the same room. Everyone on the staff, from Stacy & Jennifer who worked to coordinate with SouthLake Hospital & handled Dad's transfer to Angela & Clark who were welcoming and explained everything in a way that even Dad's wife, with dementia, understood, then Kim, who called me at 5 this morning to let me know he was gone, were helpful, explained things carefully, and with great pro... read more
This hospice house is amazing! The staff and on-site doctor here are very kind, understanding and helpful. They made my mother's last days comfortable and relaxing. They are a non-profit organization and it shows as they offered us counseling and comfort during that difficult time in our lives and even now, three months after she passed away they reached out to us once again just to check-in and make sure we're doing ok. If you have a loved one who needs hospice care I highly recommend Cornerstone.
They really went above and beyond with their care and comfort. Julie and Angela were my favorite nurses for my mom she had stage 4 terminal cancer and they took so good care of her and I will forever be grateful. Julie stood out to me , she was very gentle to my mother and me as well I stayed a few nights and she even set up the bed for me to make sure I was comfortable as well , it was comforting knowing my mother was in such good care in her end of life and I will forever be grateful, god bless Julie , Angela. Despite the circumstances that brought us here, it’s a very nice facility with very nice staff. It has 24 hour visitation, secured front doors, very nice albeit small porches for each room that has screens to keep the bugs out, very nice and well appointed rooms, all around very nice! There is a slight criticism I have. There were 7 of us in the room visiting a family member with the room door closed.
