We bought the house in 2022 and we already had to fix air handler due to poor intallation and Cornerstone did not want to handle it. Hot water heater we had to replace due to leaking and creating mold all over the drywall. Additionally, when we had our 1 year warranty. We had them come back to do all the nail pops but never sent in anyone to paint it after because then they said we are out of warranty. Cornerstone is the typical tract home builder which hires poor subcontractors to support the construction. One of these poor subcontractors is Puget Heating Company - who cannot install a heat pump without problems and can't get them to repair it in a timely manner.
UPDATE 2: Adding photos of our dryer vents that aren’t up to code and a major fire hazard. Cornerstone of course won’t come fix their mistake. We also have major rodent problems which led to use finding many holes in our buildings, missing sewer caps, garbage in the walls probably left by contractors, and many roof defects. UPDATE: adding a photo of a recurring issue that Cornerstone says there’s “no way to determine the cause.” There is clearly a water/moisture problem somewhere, they just don’t want to fix it.
