After going to the emergency room last year I was told to follow up with my PCP. After calling I found out that he retired. I wanted to find a PCP close to home and somebody I would really trust with my healthcare and most important take my insurance . I decided to try Cornerstone family health in Port Jervis. I had been visiting Cornerstone Family Healthcare in Port Jervis awhile back. I recently returned back to them and My Dr is Wendy Rodriguez let me tell you she is the best , she listens and man oh man she is very thorough. I just love that about her! she is the best. So glad I came back to them and that I have her as my Dr.
LACKING..... no one cares enough to actually even check that the facilities they send you to for tests DO NOT ACCEPT your insurance and when you call back - they don't care and tell you to call your insurance and find a place yourself!! NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE OR FOLLOW UP!!! Wait times are longer than they should be - both in waiting room then again in exam room...
Wendy Rodriguez was excellent. She listens well, is ready to help and find solutions. She obviously is very knowledgeable. More PCPs should be like her.
