On July 9, I underwent a sleep study because I have been experiencing extreme daytime fatigue even after getting a full night’s sleep. My employer knew I was being medically evaluated. On my first shift afterward, I developed a severe migraine and briefly closed my eyes. A client reported that I was asleep, and later that day I was fired. We unfortunately had a traumatic experience with this agency. The owner was great and promised us the moon while my father was in the hospital, but ultimately delivered untrained caregivers who lacked foundational basics in hygiene and empathy. We worked very hard to communicate our concerns but the scheduler/manager was rude, confrontational, and fueled a toxic employee culture. We have since switched to another agency and it is a night-and-day difference.

I have worked with Cornerstone for over a year now. Renee Fetherson hired me and has been helping and guiding me through. She is one of the best managers I ever met. Taiia is very professional and excellent at her craft. She has not dropped the ball one time! This company allows flexibility in picking up shifts and learning new skills.
