I own and manage many older apartments in the Chicagoland area- and have used Cornell’s flooring for jobs ranging from standard refinish all the way to new install on floors. I’ve always had a positive outcome and was happy with the results and the pricing too! Most other companies would offer full replacement costs when he suggested the best cost effective method for each job, and only replacement when really needed. Honest work, good pricing, reliable timing. Great contractor to work with.
I have used Cornell for over 20 years. Recommended them to my family who has used them, recommended them to my work who uses them. They are expensive but do a good job every time - until they don't. We had a 100 year old floor that needed to be taken apart and then reconfigured after some remodeling. Most contractors said it couldn’t be done because of the floor’s age. Cornell's Floor Sanding was up to the challenge. They were extremely prompt and professional. They did a flawless job and the floor now looks brand new. I give them the highest possible recommendation.
Didn't put up plastic to the upstairs and got dust all over the bedrooms upstairs. Only gave me $100 off the price for that mishap. The floors lasted about 2 years. I took the bid for the price then when they came to do the work they showed me the bills one for the refinishing and another for putting in new boards. The price was almost double what everyone else had quoted me.
Cornell's Floor Sanding has a 3 star rating with 4 reviews.
Cornell's Floor Sanding is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
