I was going to transfer my loved one to this facility to make it easier for me to visit and be present. The administrator, Angelo, went above and beyond to quell my reservations about transferring homes and was very friendly and empathetic. He took care of everything for me, from requesting the necessary medical files to setting up transportation, and moved things along quickly and seamlessly. Everyone was very kind, MK from social service helped me out alot, all the staff nurses/aids , also all the therapy staff were helpful and kind, my only complaint is about the food was always cold.
My wife's mother has been a resident since 2017. Cornell Care is now under a new administration called Autumn Lake . My wife is pleased with the new management. This picture was taken at the facility celebrating Thanksgiving 2025. The residents and family members sat down for a delicious meal n music.
About 2 years ago my sister and I had an appointment with the DON or ADON to see if it would be suitable for my dad, may he rest in peace, for respid care....We made our decision when we seen the side he would have been staying for the week...and my heart broke for them patients...Needless to say , we never did respid care, we get figured it out so he can be in the comforts of his home with his children taking care of him...as we always did...the place looked dirty and smell...no interaction with the patients on the one side... read more
I was apprehensive of placing my Mother in a Rehabilitation Facility, I've heard many stories. I am writing this to express my sheer joy and gratitude for finding this Facility. Everyone has a warm and welcoming spirit. My mother is extremely satisfied with her care and the staff makes her feel welcome, safe and cared for, all her needs are addressed quickly, the "out of bed policy " is the greatest she is doing quite well, considering her condition.
