Excellent Doctors and Nursing Staff but....?? I have been to see the Eye Dr. at this office for about 3 years now and truly love the way the medical staff treats you and handles you....BUT.....when I went to see them this last time and went to check out; I was informed that in order to have my new prescription for eye glasses I would have to pay $30 for it! Happy patient I was referred over to Dr. Lane for my cataract surgery by my medical doctor and I couldn't be more happy - everything has been great!!
Great office, caring staff Dr. McCafferty and staff have taken great care of me over the years. I've had two cataract surgeries and my wife was treated with compassion when she was very ill. I have been very happy with the care and service. I have never had any issues like the other reviewer, who sounds like he didn't understand his own insurance plan. These are eye surgeons, not contact lens dispensers.
Overcharged and Treated Poorly I went to this doctor's office for a regular eye exam and contact fitting because they said they accepted my insurance. When I arrived the day of my appointment, they told me, they were no longer sure if they accepted it. No longer sure? I specifically called ahead of time to confirm it prior! Anyway, I asked how much the appointment would be without insurance and they refused to tell me. They said they could not tell me because it "depends."
