Dr. Newer ever. very big SHT. DO NOT RENT FROM MONTLACK They close the heat in winter and switch off the air condition in summer. Their excuse is always same REPAIRING. They couldn't repair it for more then one year. They are just lying. Apartment look good from outside but dont be fooled. you will deal with cockroaches, bad neighbors and mean managers. Serious Safety Concerns Ignored We live in a Montlack building in a nice neighborhood, and recently our apartment was robbed (we lost a LOT). The scariest part was that whoever did it UNLOCKED our door, as in they HAD A KEY. Upon further investigation, we were told by Montlack (in a meeting that WE had to arrange) that as per their own policy they NEVER CHANGE LOCKS in their buildings, and that it is also their policy to NOT MAKE TENANTS AWARE OF THIS because it would be inconvenient for them to have to change locks all the ... read more
Worse apartment management company possible Do not deal with this place. In my 3 years renting with them, I had so many problems, as did my neighbors. Many of their apartments, including Fairhill Towers, are poorly maintained and r oach-infested. They have poor security and had several incidents including a car break-in, assault, and theft. Here are a list of my problems with them: 1) They kept almost all my security deposit for "cleaning expenses" which is totally unfair because it does not cost $600 to clean an apartment. ... read more
Don't rent from Montlack Realty, it will be a BIG mistake! There are so many problems with Montlack Realty. We have lived in our apartment for over two years. Despite being good tenants that are never late on rent and treat our apartment with care, any concern or problem we have is dealt with in a nasty and immature manner. The service we get and personal experience we have had is very bad. Over the winter this year our heat has been below 55 degrees on three occasions. (City ordinances maintain that it should be at least 70... read more
Not recommended I would not recommend Montlack Realty. They are rude and their apartments are not pleasant. However, they do own many of the apartments near Case and the Cleveland Clinic so there is not much choice.

The Worst! Rude and Negligent. – We rent from Montlack near Coventry and it started out fine. The rent was a little steep but with a good location I decided it was okay. The apartment is nice and big with an updated kitchen. Recently however our heat stopped working in January. We had told them 2 months earlier that there was a problem with the heat because it would come on and then go off for hours making it frigid in the apartment.
