The Corley Mill House was the perfect place for our wedding and reception! From the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew that it was the right place for our dream wedding. The home and gardens will take you back to the charming and romantic "old south." The grounds are very well kept with gorgeous greenery, flowers, hanging lights, and decor. We went to the Mother’s Day Brunch yesterday. They ushered us to a cold, dark, undecorated room. (Ceiling fans running on high and we were told could not be turned down or off). Large round tables with one tiny votive candle on the table and pink and blue paper napkins. No flowers or centerpiece. The only drinks available were SWEET tea, SWEET lemonade or water. We have been to several weddings at the Corley Mill House and have have enjoyed the atmosphere and food. We were really excited to learn they were hosting Mother’s Day Brunch. Our party of 14 arrived to one fewer place setting and chair than we needed. The drinks were served buffet style but placed in the path of the food line and were almost impossible to access. Went for Mother’s Day brunch. Was super excited. I was expecting a lot for $40pp. The food was catered with that being said. There was Not enough food for the amount of people that booked. The entrees were cold. No butter for the bread. The staff walked around like deers in head light. While booking my reservation. I had Called to inform them i would have a “free” two year old. Perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding this past Saturday. Food was delicious. We have received many compliments on both. Very easy to work with!! Definitely a 5 star experience. Thank you Corley Mill House.
We recently held a rehearsal dinner at the CMH for 80+ people and everything about the evening was wonderful. Sheila, Scott and the entire staff were so easy and friendly to work with, from the planning stages to the actual evening. The venue itself is beautiful and the food was excellent. The service was great and everyone truly enjoyed the evening.I highly recommed them!
