Not as good as it used to be This used to be one of the best casual places to eat in town, but it has gone down hill over the past year or so. The service the past couple times that I have been has been horrible, once I actually left because I was not being waited on at all. The food is about the same, but it is not worth it anymore.

Things Apparently Haven't Changed I ate at the Cork Street Tavern recently, and I found the food to be very good, and the service incredibly slow. If you go, you will need to leave extra time. My husband and I were late to where we needed to go following dinner. I find it incredible that reviews from years ago also complain about the speed of service - hopefully they will do something about this soon. Restaurant has good atmosphere, and you'll see lots of locals.

The atmosphere is charming - service, quality only so so I agree with the first poster - this place seems to have a reputation that exceeds it's actual value - I wouldn't recommend it. I've eaten there twice and the service has been slow both times... and the bar tenders aren't extremely friendly. PROS: Charming building, atmosphere CONS: Service, kindness, food quality

Lovely atmosphere Although Cork Street is not quite what it used to be, I still find it a great place to eat. Their ribs have been rated the best in the Valley several years. The service has a lot to be desired especially on a busy night (weekends). But on a weeknight, the atmosphere (fireplace) and such are a treat. PROS: food, drinks, atmosphere CONS: service especially when busy.
