Copy of my review of Yelp because it needs more attention. I was at Cork City on July 11th to watch the Argentina vs Switzerland would cup match. Instead I ended up watching a drunk man lose his shit in the street for 30 minutes. This man walked out of cork city and was incredibly emotional. Threatening to fight anyone that talked to him. A woman took exception and called him out to which this drunk man proceeded to elbow the woman in the chest (her husband was a coward and didn’t do anything). Worst experience while watching an important game. sound didn’t work well and they didn’t try to fix it. Manager was rude and unwelcoming
Great bar! Dropped by around 345pm Sunday feeling like I walked across the desert (JC to Hoboken). Lively but you don’t need to shout they had so many selections - it felt like I was back in my 20s in lower Manhattan. Shout out for the Peach Mango and the Blueberry Cobbler! Top-notch beer-focused neighborhood bar. Expert service. Lots of neighbors and their dogs. TVs on but no sound {or really quiet). Great beer selection on over 40 taps, also wines and cocktails. Small but pleasant outside area.
One of the favorite spots. Always a great crowd with great people.
