Made an appt. to see the Dr. Metz, for second opinion, on my wrist, after a prior surgical procedure. When I called, I explained this and was asked who the original doctor was; I said I would rather not say, to which they replied "no problem". I also asked if they needed the prior MRI results & was told no. Well, guess what, there were problems: the girl that came into the room before doctor was not pleasant and told me the doctor wouldn't see me without records.
