My mom is here visiting from California. She wanted to go have a nice dinner, so I suggested Corbin's. Our first choice was Rickenbacher's but they were closed. What we experienced was the horrible lighting! It was blaring and glaring and just too bright to have a calm/soothing feel. As we looked around we thought the décor was done very cheaply, although the prices are high. I don't believe we will be coming here again unless the lighting/décor is significantly changed. We went there for lunch yesterday, service was fantastic. We had French dip Sandwich a jus was way to salty. I had turkey sandwich the meat was dry, good flavor for the most part, but the the calimari was over cooked it was like eating rubber band. Food over all was just ok..

Well we went here and I was looking online at all the dishes they had but everything I asked for they "actually dont have it " so why post all these scrumptious looking plates of food if you "actually don't have it ?"
Food is great, especially with the new chef. However, the cost of a glass of wine, as well as the corking fee ($20?!), is ridiculous. It's more expensive than the nicer restaurants in downtown SLC.
