Clint (the owner) couldn't be a nicer or more honest guy. I went in thinking I might get a new bike, left my old one to have him check it out. A quick turn around tune up, I had a good-as-new bike and he didn't sell me anything I didn't need. You can bet I'll be back when I am ready to buy a bike.
Coqui cyclery is hands down the best bike shop I've ever been to. Clint has a passion for customer service and obviously anything bicycle related. The staff there has a similar superb attitude and helpful nature as well. Clint's knowledge and experience is far beyond most mechanics locally available. I can't say enough good stuff about this bike shop. I have worked with several of the sales people and the owner / lead mechanic and all of them have been amazing. I am/was a beginner not quite ready to buy a super high-end bike but they helped me find a bike that I love that fit both my budget and allows me to grow skill-wise. They have answered all of my dumb questions and educated me about both the bikes themselves and the trails in/around Richmond.
