I don't haul my boat (22' Pontoon" long distances and such, I needed a basic trailer and at the time I did not want to pay the cost of the factory trailers. I bought my trailer about 5 years ago from this company and was shocked to see the negative reviews today. Sounds like a buyer beware type thing but my experience with the company was good. To much to say..... Stay away.. Bruce Kinney should not be doing business with anyone. Saftey issues, bad welds, missing parts, 6 months still have not received parts, missing the most important part of the trailer tri hul boat with no tri hul supports on the trailer...duhh.. reason why we should have up to -5 on the ratings. Bought a trailer last year. Seems to be holding ok but I don't use it much. Took forever and a few threats to get the paperwork. Paint and welds looks bad. Still was cheaper than others. You get what you pay for.
First off, I sent Bruce a $500 deposit and agreed to the trailer before I read these reviews. I dont think I would of sent him any money if I had read these first, but I am glad I did. He built me a good tandem axle trailer for the price. The trailer was rated for 5,000 lbs but it could easily put 7,000lbs with no worries. I upgraded a bit and had inner fenders and trailer skirts on it and it looks good from a distance and pulls like a $5,000 trailer.
