I wasn't upset that my family waited just shy of one hour past our reservation for a table. That's what happens at good restaurants sometimes. It was on our third round of drinks at the bar while waiting that the owner of the restaurant charged me $24 for two drinks I didn't ask for and then shouted at me to "f%!@ off" when I pointed it out that I decided we would not be going back to the Plopper Dock. I've enjoyed a few dinners here. The atmosphere is lovely and the views are amazing. Interestingly, when you go to brunch here you see the place in a different light ... literally. In the daylight, you see how dirty it is in the dining room. My heels were sinking into the squishy carpet while I waited for my freshly made omelet. Went to our once a year Sunday brunch with our relatives from Florida. Sooooo disappointed. We were there when they opened so there is no excuse for the following. Eggs Benedict, ribs, liver and just about every hot dish was "barely" room temperature. The waitress and view were great as usual, but the male server at the food table pretty much called out all seven of us for lying. That really did us in.
