My ford f150 2018 didn't come with a tow package when I bought it. After many years I decided to tow a pop up. My ignorance led me to learn that you need a 7 way and a brake controller installed. Spent 2 weeks waiting for local Ford dealer to get back to me and schedule install. After all that wait ford realizes that my truck doesn't even have the OEM wires for the ford brake controller to be installed. I would need an aftermarket installed and ford won't install them.
