I guess I never really had great pastry before because when I bit into my nougat castle the clouds opened up and I felt these radiant beams of sunlight on my face. Fantastic pastry and a lovely staff. Highly recommended.
Their pastries are so damn delicious, and they have pretty good brewed coffee too!
Boyfriend picked up 3 pastries and all were flaky goodness! I think they are the three most popular. Def worth it.
Read about this in the LA Times, went there this morning, had a few samples, and now I'm hooked. Took home a few things, and my wife and I are savoring all of it. The hard rolls, the rye bread, and all the sweets ... wonderful.
This authentic Danish-style bakery has some of the best sweet treats in the city, with things like almondy kringles, raspberry danishes, nougat crowns, braided cinnamon lines, and more.
