I did not realize hospitals can turn away people if you do not see a PCP in their organization. That’s a new one for me. So unless you’re part of their special COPC group you cannot go here for care.

Very unprofessional and dismissive experience. I came in mainly for nasal congestion, and although I mentioned a small cough, I clearly said it wasn’t serious. The doctor barely listened, focused only on the cough, and ended up prescribing me medication I didn’t really want or need. When I asked about treatment for my actual symptoms, she told me I didn’t “look sick enough” to need anything and basically told me to do my own research for over-the-counter meds. After recovering from flu, developed chest pain each time I coughed, went to this urgent care only to obtain chest X-ray to make sure I didn't have pneumonia. As soon as I entered the exam room, the nurse or PCA? asked if it was okay to test for influenza and Covid. I said No, because I already knew I'd had the flu last week as all my co-workers had it, I had recovered from that and just wanted a chest X-ray to make sure I didn't have pneumonia.
