This place was great! I visited from out of town and had the best experience! Whitney and Badger were great bar tenders and always helped me out! Everyone should visit whether local or not! don't forget half price oysters on Tuesday!

I'll admit they took my favorite off the menu, but the new menu items ain't no slouch. Brunch burger is killer and the guys'll go out of their way to accommodate, say with debris and you've got my favorite back. And the atmosphere is much improved. I love the new set-up makes getting to and from your seat a hell of a lot easier, when you got to pee during the big game. Sometimes change is for the best! And I hear more good is to come

This used to be a favorite of mine, but the recently changed menu was pricey ($30 for burgers and fries). The beer selection has changed too- no more international selection. This used to be the after parade go-to, but thats going to change and that makes me sad. Felt yuppy-ized.

We're also unsure if there was a mistake or you were overcharged on your visit but a regular hamburger aka "Cooter Burger" with french fries and tax should come out to $13.34, not $30. I love trying a great beer I've never heard of, and that is DEFINITELY an option at Cooter Brown's. Vince is always shucking some of the best oysters in town. LOVE the new specials and the new menu. Great game watching, too.
We just returned with great anticipation. I was already tasting the Cooter Club. My husband had his taste buds set on a Grand Isle. We knew that Cooters had changed hands, but had read things would stay the same. Very disappointed to see so many of our favorites gone from the menu. The people working the register didn't even know what these items were! We have recommended Cooters to so many people over the last 20 years. Same people will be told not to return!
