After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. I’ve been to 3 Cooper’s Hawk Winery Restaurants. Thus far, this is my favorite one. Service and food pretty good.
I had my daughter’s wedding shower in the Vineyard Room. The doors were still locked when we arrived early @ 10AM, but we were let in right away & were able to bring everything in & prepare the room in enough time for 11AM. Staff was polite, informative, clear, & welcoming. The food service was slightly behind schedule, but I worked with it for playing our games, etc. All food was delicious, but would have been perfect if they were prepared with a little LESS salt. It was ok we had a birthday party with reservations at 830. They called us at 8 and said are table was ready but we just got there a little befor 8 and started wine tasting. So we were not ready to sit for dinner. They gave are table away and didn’t call us till almost 10. It’s almost like a punishment for not sitting when they called us. The atmosphere was very lovely. I enjoyed the set up. My food was amazing. I will return.
We were there for Wine tasting. We were, seated in a crowded dining room, no cheese or crackers and a crabby waitress. She didn't want to explain to answer our questions about food or drinks. Not happy at all with the experience.
So Coopers Hawk has always been one of my favorite places but by far tonight made me realize how much this place rocks. Like always awesome service, delicious food and to top it off the GM Justin came to our table after we were finished and gave me a new bill with a zero tab. He said it was a little gift from him as a baby gift when he seen Mazin with us. Honestly had me speechless from the generosity! Thanks a lot Justin, will be defiantly be making Burr Ridge Coopers Hawk my spot for sure!
