I have had two horrible experiences with the ER and recovery process involving my mother. The first time, she had a same-day procedure and was sent to the recovery room afterward. She was recovering slowly and was in a significant amount of pain. We made sure to communicate to the staff repeatedly how much pain she was still experiencing. Despite this, they were constantly trying to rush us out of the recovery area. This review is for the RWJBarnabas Ambulatory Care Center (ACC). More specifically the MRI department. My daughter and I have both recently had MRIs and everyone is super friendly and warm. Special shout out to Hela. She goes beyond to make you feel comfortable and help out however needed. She deserves a raise for all her hard work. Steven, the technologist is also very kind and makes sure you feel comfortable. This is a great department that I would highly recommend.

I had a Venous Doppler test this morning. Connie at the reception desk was extremely helpful. She cleared up the scheduling confusion with my doctor before the test and walked me through the process to ensure that I could get to the test before work. Anna the technician was wonderful, explained the process thoroughly, make sure to answer all my questions. She prepared me for the test by explaining everything before she started.
