I’ve been seeing Dr. Carran since I was 18, she always truly cares for her epilepsy patients. She weighs out all best options before jumping into a decision, back into 2016 she recommended me to Dr. Goldman who performed an amazing brain surgery that stopped my grand maul seizures. I have been a patient with this department since I moved to New Jersey in May. While the people who work this office are interpersonally kind and I do not think there's any malice on their end, I would never recommend anyone become a patient here. The sheer level of lack of communication, incompetence, and negligence that I've experienced has astounded me. I have very difficult to manage chronic migraines. In October 2025, my insurance rescinded their approval of coverage of my nurtec, the only medication that had worked thu... read more

Cooper’s Neurology department is extremely disappointing when compared to Jefferson and Penn. When my husband was first diagnosed with MS, I immediately recommended Cooper because I had worked there in the Neuro ICU and had firsthand experience with how advanced and cutting edge their inpatient neurological care could be.
