I purchased a new home construction in Sanford NC from Smith Douglas Homes and Cooper did the HVAC system. They installed a 3.5 ton unit in a 3000 sq/ft home. The summer temperatures get to the mid 90s. My HVAC cannot cool my home below 76 degrees. When we have guests over, the home gets to 80 degrees.
